Poem about Dubai

Dubai

Once a coastal village, a distant shore,

a fishermen’s dream, destined for more.

Now an illuminant, a bold cityscape,

a masterpiece taking shape.

Glamour drapes each grand design,

luxury woven into time.

Seven-star stays, gold-lined halls,

a skyline where ambition calls.

Where visions turn to icons fast,

and tomorrow is built to last.

Cranes above? I never mind,

they build the future, redefine.

Futuristic, yet rooted deep,

a global hub where high-flyers meet.

Sometimes humid, sometimes dry,

it’s rare to see a cloud in the sky.

Private jets, helicopters, mega yachts,

supercars driven by all the big shots.

The fastest, tallest, biggest, best,

the style, bling, immaculately dressed.

The beaches, both natural and man-made,

have all you need for a fun packed day.

Pristine sand, a snazzy retreat,

a hip sanctuary, frequented by the elite.

High-end restaurants, food with flair.

every night is a classy affair.

Diamonds glint and silks flow free,

top-notch service guaranteed.

Spice-filled souks and cultural must-dos,

a stroll along the creek, a Dhow dinner cruise.

Away from the glitz the desert beckons,

Bedouin camps, vintage wagons.

Not just a playground of privilege,

a stage where dreams unfold.

A place to be inspired, ever new,

Dubai—where the impossible comes true.
