A familiar name made a graceful return to the shores of Le Morne as the JW Marriott Mauritius Resort officially reverted to The St. Regis Le Morne Resort. Enjoying a prominent spot at one of the island’s most coveted coastal addresses, the resort has long been admired for its sublime setting on the UNESCO-listed Le Morne Peninsula, framed by golden sands and turquoise seas.

While the name may have changed more than once in recent years – first debuting as a St. Regis, then rebranded as JW Marriott in 2021 – this latest chapter marks a homecoming of sorts. Under the stewardship of General Manager Mathieu de Tonnac, the revitalised resort embraces the refined heritage of the St. Regis brand, offering elevated dining, bespoke experiences, and an unwavering sense of place rooted in island elegance.
